Delivery and returns

Next working day delivery — £6.95
Next working day delivery pre-12pm — £7.50
Saturday delivery — £9.95

All our products are shipped frozen. It is best to get your food in the freezer as soon as possible.

All orders placed before 2pm between Monday and Thursday are despatched same day on a next day delivery service (excluding public holidays).

Unfortunately we are not currently able to deliver to Northern Ireland or Scottish Highlands as this is only available to us on a two day service. We are looking into a one day service for the future.

Saturday delivery

If you require Saturday delivery, this is available on orders placed before 12pm on Friday, but you must specify Saturday delivery at the checkout. Otherwise orders placed after 2pm on Thursday will be shipped on Monday.

Postage and plastic

We use national couriers to deliver our product. They are cheaper and more environmentally friendly than running a fleet of refrigerated vans.

Unfortunately where there is meat, there is plastic. We know we can’t get away from it, all we can do is use as little of it as possible. Right now we have compostable, recyclable and biodegradable wrappers in our freezer on test and we can’t wait to start shouting about. For now, all we can do is talk about the volume of plastic we use in comparison to the standard issue tubs.

For companies using plastic tubs, 80kg of plastic has to be manufactured per tonne of dog food produced. This all needs to be disposed of and often isn’t recycled. In order to pack the same amount of food, we use just 3.9kg of plastic. This is quite a saving of resources.

There’s a finite amount of uses and cupboard space to store plastic tubs and they inevitably end up being thrown away. We are confident that the environmental impact of our thin film, even if you send it to landfill, is significantly less than the environmental impact of a plastic tub.

Our individual portions pack neatly into a cardboard box. We get a lot of food in a small space which also helps it stay cold. We have polystyrene cut to size and only use what we need. In the winter we reduce the thickness of the sheets we use. Polystyrene is horrible stuff and we are looking in to cost-effective alternatives.
